"Really good player for the money, a third of the price of my first BD player.
Very fast access and loading time. You tube and iPlayer better quality than expected through built in wi-fi.
Whilst accessing BD Live for in movie features "not enough memory" prohibited activating feature, bit frustrating, I guess this is why there is a USB port at the front, maybe this should be hidden down the side.
Was surprised to see there was no digital display on the machine whatsoever. I suppose you do not really need one, may help prevent audio/picture interference.
Mains lead could have done with being a bit longer and goes direct in to unit so you can not use a longer lead of your own.
Great feature is a downloadable app that lets your phone act as a full function remote, allowing full qwerty input on the search functions and web browsing, including two way communication.
Overall amazing value bit of kit."

"Firstly I have to say the bluray and dvd playback are excellent as you would expect from Sony. The additional features are a very mixed bag. The wifi is solid and connects without issue. Iplayer works well if the interface is pretty clumsy and non-intuitive. Likewise 5 od. No itv player or 4 od is annoying. The other online services I find superfluous. Streaming is OK too but very fussy about format. This leads me to the massive negative point. Argos say it supports divx. THIS PLAYER DOES NOT SUPPORT DIVX! For some reason Sony are no longer providing divx support in their equipment . This is almost unforgivable I nearly returned it on this alone. It will play xvid tho so lots of conversions and it may be OK. Also I've yet to get the android media remote to work with it.
A good player with wi-fi being the main plus point, let down by basic omissions certainly don't buy it expecting to play divx!"

"I bought this item primarily for its ability to show online content. In short it is brilliant and works really well with my cable internet connection.
The menu system is really easy to use (which I understand is an improvement from the previous version) and the addition of in built WIFI avoids the need for cables, or expensive USB dongles.
It is worth noting that the service does not offer ITV Player, or 4od, but the quality of the picture from the other services is better than I have seen previously on other platforms."
