"So far, I am impressed with this printer. I have been let down by my previous two printers of other makes (one which failed during warranty and the other which failed shortly after the warranty ran out). Both had faults connected with the ink cartridge system, albeit different faults. I am hoping to do better this time and the signs are good. The set up was straight forward and I have found I only need two bits of the software provided - the driver and the bit that lets me scan into the computer. It's just as noisy as time consuming as all other inkjet printers when switched on and it chunters away to itself, but when that's over and done with, it prints well."

"Brilliant scans at 600dpi. Throws out documents like shelling peas. Excellent print quality, even on standard setting, so saving ink.
Only downside, doesn't seem to like cheap copier paper. Mangles roughly 3 out of every 4 sheets, so back to my old Lexmark Z601 for that job. Otherwise, very pleased."
