"Ideally suited as a double alarm clock for bed side, dimming of display is good, can be almost turned off, perfectly quite and being a DAB radio its time display always correct. It could improve if the alarm settings was simplified with a shorter menu but this is not a real problem and made a bit smaller in height, looks a bit lumpy (that is probably limited by the size of a good quality loudspeaker). I am pleased that I purchased it and it suits my needs perfectly."

"Firstly this is a well made item that works very well straight from the box, sound quality is very good and easy to set up.1 small drawback is when you set the alarm to come on either DAB or FM the volume is quite loud and although it starts off quietly is reaches a very loud peak which having spoken to Roberts say it cannot be altered. if you switch it off and then back on again then you can reduce the volume. Its a shame but for anyone hard of hearing it would work fine, but then again its an alarm so it is supposed to wake you up. Display is good and clear Buttons on the top are flat so difficult to see in the dark . otherwise good machine and would recommend"

Not the worst, but pretty bad

"This isn't a cheap clock radio, so you would expect it to be pretty special. Unfortunately it's far from that. I had simple requirements - being able to see the time without it blinding you at night, set the alarm(s) easily and reasonable sound quality. This fails because you have to switch the radio on to change the alarm settings - even just turning the alarms on and off. Obviously not designed by someone who shares a bedroom. Sound quality is also rubbish for the money.
I bought the Pure Siesta instead, which is close to perfect."
