"Wanted a basic one , it has a digital display out, USB charge , cap cover, manual readable on pc when plugged in, it is fairly loud in the headphones, it has a voice record function as well. Plays music, and is dainty and lightweight, is white and pink plastic. Plugged it into the car stereo usb in and it played initially then beeped and said error, so it was temperamental as a plug and play device, but not really designed as a USB stick AUX in .It holds a good amount of tracks though I put about 10 albums on it and there is still space to edit some more on or off at flick of switch. Its instruction manual is viewable on pc when its plugged into the pc, so dont be a thicko and review it then type 'there was no instruction book with it'"

"I bought this for my Mum as her old own wasn't working, I tried for 3 hours to load the 'Songbird' software ontp her computer for her, I went onto the online support to be told by an advisor, "oh yeah, it won't work with Windows 7, we know that". If they know this WHY DON'T THEY TELL YOU THAT BEFORE YOU BUY IT!!!!
It's been a complete nightmare from strt to finish. I then took it home (where I have Windows XP) but STILL HAD PROBLEMS WITH THE SOFTWARE. Obviously this is a problem for Phillips but they're unwilling to do anything about it, so I WOULD AVOID, If they can't be bothered to fix it, why should we bother to buy it?!"

"Having read previous reviews decided to buy this little mp3 player and have to say it's very good value for money. The screen is quite easy to see and downloading is so easy there's no need to install any drivers or anything just connect to computer and away you go! We liked it so much that I bought another one the next day for my wife.
For a simple no nonsense mp3 player you can't go wrong with this. Also the battery charges up quite quickly you can either plug into your computer or buy a plug in charger for when you are on holiday"
