"I wanted a shredder, and initially I had to do a lot of shredding. I have learned, having tried two shredders like this and returned the first one, that despite your best efforts and reverse switch etc, shredders get blocked and you have to work out how to unblock them. Note the paper sensor switch at the centre of the paper hole, because when paper gets wrapped around this, it will be necessary to disconnect from the mains and clear the paper around the switch (take off from the bin and look through the shredder to find where it is blocked..... Apart from getting blocked, which is par for the course, this shredder is very good."

"A very good and efficient shredder which comes with a good capacity collection container. It has a short after-run when the sheets have gone through to make sure that no bits of paper are left entangled with the cutters. Very easy to empty out the “receiving†shredded paper container – the mechanism has a fold down handle which enables one to lift it off the shredding container and to replace it back with no mess.
My only criticism is that it is noisy and shreds at a very high pitch. But overall I think it is well priced and a good buy."
