Additional Information

Shredders - Cross or 'Confetti' Cut

Protect your identity by shredding personal and confidential documents. For high security choose a cross-cut shredder. These cut the waste into tiny 'confetti' size bits so it's virtually impossible for a document to be reconstructed. Cross-cut or 'confetti' waste is less bulky so you don't need to empty the basket so often.

ProAction 8 sheet 13 litre cross cut shredder Good product for the money: performs well, albeit a bit noisy. Particularly liked the handle to lift off the power mechanism. 08 April 2014
Shredder It. Is very good and helpfull when you have to get rid of personal papers so I would recommend it 01 April 2014
Cross shredder Very pleased with this item - works well and good price 20 March 2014
Good value It is quite noisy for a shredder but does what its suppose to. 8 sheets at a time is a bit adventurous, very slow, but 6 or lower works well. 19 March 2014
Good for the money It says 8 sheet but using A4 80gsm paper it will not do that without labouring and running very slow and hot. 18 March 2014

Answer:
My previous shredder was a Bush, this new shredder does all that my previous one did but is noisier than the Bush was. I normally complete my shredding in the garage so there are no problems with neighbours. Thank You.

Answer:
I did not find the micro switch to be any problem if you use the top handle to put it on the basket. You must leave the shredder about 1 hour then use reverse for a few seconds it then should shred as normal
