Good if flawed design

"We love these kettles but why can't they sort out the design flaws? Firsty, it could have more water capacity, Also, it's not that well made. This is the third one we've had - the other two broke within six months.
The lid release mechanism has already broken on this new one after a week! Oh well, better go and get another replacement.. three year 'product care' also a good investment. Though after three years you'll have been through about fifty of them!

On the positive side : flashing lights really appeal to my wife, the water filter is brilliant and it boils quickly. Enjoy it before it breaks!"

Best kettle for a proper cuppa

"Living in an area with very hard water, we usually descale the kettle at least once a week, having to fill it 3-4 times before getting all the scale out. This kettle is perfect, and with a baby on the way who will need clean boiled water this is a huge weight off my mind."

"Kettle provides lovely filtered water. However, within two days the lid stopped opening, so it cannot be refilled. Sadly, this kettle will have to be returned."

"This is a good kettle, very stylish and it lights up and changes colour when the water gets warm/hot. Good when you are disabled and have numb hands and poor sight. Filters well and is easy to clean. However it is not cheap and there is a problem with the lid button, after a few months it sticks, this is our 4th kettle in two years, so get the product insurance, just in case. Otherwise I would have given this kettle 5*."
