2 man dome tent Good buy easy to put up 19 May 2015
Very sturdy little tent Right from the start it was clear that the poles were too long, definitely a design fault, so I cut them down by 75mm (3") otherwise the seams would have torn. The tent felt really sturdy so would withstand high winds. Being a motorcyclist I need room for all my bike clothing, helmet and luggage and single mattress which this tent provided, It also packs up really small which is a bonus having to carry it on my motorbike, all in all very pleased, with the price, ease of use, and quality. 12 May 2015
Not the best design but does the trick Bought this tent for use at Download Festival. Doing a test of putting it up to realise that the poles are longer than the actual tent material! Have had to improvise by adding a couple of keyring bits so that the poles slot into the base. Other than that it's big enough for one person with a big bag. Good sized porch. Not had to test out the tents waterproof capabilities but I am spraying it with additional protection just in case. 25 April 2015
Better than many Great tent especially for the odd night here and there. The carrying weight is good and the pegs are stronger than many others. The main advantage is the extra sewn in front attachment which means there is no puddle just outside the door if it rains! Only one slight problem (which I have overcome now) being that it's not that easy to set up by just 1 person - I have since found out that there are definite ways in which this can be achieved though. 21 April 2015
Proaction 2 man dome tent Great value for money. I bought this for my grandson who is on the Autistic spectrum as his den, constructed in his bedroom, he loves it and regularly sleeps in it. Easy to assemble although you need to be strong to get the rods in. 07 April 2015

Answer:
It will stand up to light rain ./ showers but would not recommend it for more than festivals or fun weekend camping in reasonable conditions. For extra peace of mind I suggest buying a tube of seam sealant and running it over every internal seam once tent is erected to help the tent hold out longer.

I'm looking at buying a tent for when I'm cycling, and staying out over night., how small is the carrying case it's stored in. And will it fit safety on the back of a bicycle.

Answer:
Hello,

I have looked into this for you and I can confirm that the packaged size is L56, W12, D12cm so it may not fit on the back of a bike safely depending on how secure it is fixed to the back of your bike

Thank you for using Argos Q&A

Answer:
Lie the tent flat out on the ground and straighten out as much as possible. Drop all guy ropes into towards the middle. Using the narrowest width fold this into itself from both sides until it's the width of the tent bag and still laid out long. Roll it from one end as tight as you can. You must ensure it's fully dry (and the guy ropes) to stop mould developing so If packed away wet sort it once you're home!

Hello,

Thank you for your question. I am sorry I can find no guidelines as to how to fold the ProAction 2 Man Dome Tent. From customer reviews here and elsewhere they do say its quite easy to pack. My best advice here is to just keep trying.

Thank you got using Argos Q & A.
