"Lovely lamps,well proportioned, when they are not lit they are a lovely deep black(which is why I bought them) but when they are lit,which to be fair,is the whole point of a lamp... they look purple!!!!!! so overall disappointed as I expeted them to be better quality, the bases are really nice but the main reason I bought them was for the shades with the sparkle trim"
