Argos Value Range Cordless Kettle - White. 4.4 5 1278 1478
What can I say. ..five pound and fantastic bought for caravan perfect. 23 July 2014
Cracking little kettle Brought this as an extra kettle because I had the builders in reroofing the house so they could make there own drinks as and when they wanted one,I was pleasantly surprised with product for the price, take note it isn't the size of a standard kettle but boils pretty quickly and does the job. 19 July 2014
Great value Strange thing about Argos kettle info is that they don't tell you if they actually switch off by themselves only saying if they switch off if boiled dry, which is a big difference. This does switch off and so this price point is unbeatable. Who needs a Russel Hobbs etc 16 July 2014
A good basic kettle Where a kettle is required to just boil water and not be a design icon, this kettle fills the bill. Simple, effective and relatively robust. Good value for money. 16 July 2014
GREAT Value This kettle works well and great value 15 July 2014

Answer:
Hello there,

The voltage in USA is 100/110V and this is different to 220/240V in UK. The issue is on the voltage and changing the fuse cannot settle the issue.
The kettle is designed to use under 220/240V only. So it is not suitable to use this kettle in USA without the appropriate adapter.

Thank you for using Argos Q&A

Answer:
You don't need to change the fuse. But it is best to buy one there because the mains voltage in the USA is mainly 110v ours in the UK is 240v some kettles work on both so you could check that. Hope that helps.

Answer:
Like most electrical items I would assume all you would need would be a plug adapter for the USA socket.
