"I purchased about 2 months ago.. Very stylish and the volume can get quite loud for a little radio. All-in-all I was very pleased with it untill yeasterday!! Although it had been taken good care of, it literally just stopped working!! I will be taking it back for an exchange as judging from the other reviews it was just my bad luck and not typical of this radio. Maybe it was because I only paid half price in the sale!!"

Not bad for the price

"Got this half price in an Argos sale. Wanted it for the kitchen and to take in to the garden on nice sunny days ! It is easy to preset your favourite channels and looks nice, with its 80's retro design. Sometimes loses reception for a few seconds when you first switch it on, as I assume it is searching for the strongest signal, but it then stays on without crackling or hissing like traditional radios do. Sound quality is ok, not too tinny, but no graphic equalizer, so you can't adjust the bass or treble. All in all, it is not the best on the market, but it "does what it says on the tin" and is perfectly acceptable for the price."
