Surprisingly good I purchased my first set of vacuum storage bags from Argos about four years ago and they have been excellent. I use them for storing clothing when touring abroad on my bike - they keep everything bone dry and enable clothes to be compressed into a really small package. Four years on and they were wearing out so I purchased this latest set. Initially I was quite disappointed as these are different to the last set which had a valve controlled apperture to attach to a vacuum cleaner. These latest ones don't have this. Instead, in addition to the usual twin zip to open and close the bag, the other end of the bag has a clever one way valve incorporated into the seam. Once the bag is closed, you gently but firmly roll it up and the air is forced out through that seam but air cannot get back in. I was very dubious about how well this would work but I can report that it is brilliant. I packed my clothing five days ago and in this time there has been no sign of air ingress into the bag at all. 15 May 2013
Good product Easy to use as you can roll them rather than having to use a vacuum, found them very good for bulky items like coats or dressing gowns. 07 May 2013

Travel storage bags I bought these as I am going on holiday in the summer. They are pretty easy to roll up. A bit more instruction would have been helpful on the packet but you kinda work it out as you go along. The sizing is good and I only needed to use 3 of the bags to get everything into my suitcase so was well pleased. They feel quite weighty once the air sucked out of them. One thing though once all that bulk is gone it makes you want to pack more stuff which could make your case heavier so beware! Otherwise a very good buy as you can use them to store your summer clothes when you return. 04 April 2013
Did the job Used these to pack ski clothes for my holiday. They did what they were meant to however you do need to be quite strong to get the air out and quick in closing them over in order that no air gets back in. Still a good purchase. 20 March 2013
