"I purchased this unit to go with another unit similar to this one but of a much better quality. The assembily was very good, and when put together it did look the part. But as I started to fill the shelves with my CD's the selves bowed straight away, to the point that two of them dropped off the pegs that's meant to hold the shelves in place.
I would have dismantled the whole thing and took it back but I needed the unit as I had no where to put my CD's so I have had to reduce the number of CD's on each shelf.
With exception of the fith shelf that has screws at each end.
It would have been good if each shelf had screws at each end that held all the shelves to the upright side panels."

"very easy to assemble, did not take very long to put together either. The only drawback with this item is that the shelves need to be stronger the top shelf is bowing under the wait of 77 cds."

"The unit is a great size and is not too in your face considering how many CDs/DVDs it holds but when you fill the shelves up the bow quite badly in the middle. Considering the unit is designed to hold DVDs and CDs it seems silly that the shelves bend under the weight"

"I think that the quality for the cost is not very good.
I have over 450 Cds in so far, the shelves are showing signs of a bend in the centre.
Also the Shelves are not a tight fit to the sides."

"Do not buy this product.
To use for DVD/Blu-rays the positioning of the shelves means you can only use 5 of the 8.
Once DVDs are placed on the shelves the shelves bow badly under the weight.
All in all a very poor item!!!!"
