The magnetic collar key allows your cat to come and go while keeping strays out. Suitable for medium-sized cats up to 7kgs, the plastic construction fits into glass, wood, walls and most PVC doors. The 4-way locking system gives you control over access - set it to in only, out only, fully open or locked.
The magnetic collar key system means only your cat can trigger the flap, which matters if you live in an area with wandering neighbourhood cats. Maximum shoulder width of 16.2cm ensures a comfortable fit for medium builds without being too large for security. The manual locking options adapt to different situations - lock them in at night or out during cleaning time. The plastic surface wipes clean to keep things hygienic between uses.

We bought this cat flap to prevent our young kitten from going outside but allow our older cat to still go out. Unfortunately our cat refused to use the c.flap to get back inside, so we ended up purchasing a basic design. It was relatively easy to fit, looks tidy and the magnet stayed securely on my cats collar.

Seems to be working OK. They should just have screws on both sides, then it would be easier to fit especially since the screws supplied seem to be made of butter

Not as good as Ii would expect
Its not very good if your cat comes through the door slowly as the flap refuses to close properly and other cats can just waltz in, a bit disappointing to say the least, not recommended if you have a dainty cat and there are other cats in the area.

Hello There.
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for PetSafe Staywell Magnetic 4 Way Locking Classic Cat Flap.
The Staywell Classic Magnetic 4-Way Locking Cat Flap comes with a built-in tunnel section that is 60mm (about 2⅜") deep, measured from the back of the inner frame.
You cannot add extra tunnel extensions to make it deeper. So what you get is fixed at 60mm.

The magnet doesnt need to touch the flap. You can hear it operate the lock when you place it near to the tunnel.
