"I bought this ironing board spur of the moment as my last ironing board decided to give up the ghost just in the middle of ironing. Wasn’t sure at first because it is not the cheapest i’ve seen! Glad I did though as it has been a wonderful purchase. it seems to have cut my ironing down by half (not sure how but the steam seems to penetrate the clothes better making it quicker to iron?). Definitely a good purchase."

"I have just had to replace my old ironing board and good friend after 46 yrs. as it was definitrly getting wobbly and then it suffered a major attack of metal fatigue so i was very uncertain as to what to buy to replace it.However i needn't have worried as my new one is superb Full marks to Brabantia for an easy to use attractive and sturdy product which i'm sure will last me for just as long as the other one has"

"Lightweight, basic, easy-action and very nice touch with iron sitting position via a 'snap up' rest.
Only thing - the cover is cotton. Personally, I'd never iron with a cotton cover; they burn. I've overlaid the spring green cover with a heat-proof version and I'm pleased with the whole result.
It's ironing; what can I say? Boring as watching paint dry, but this product is efficient and is easy to use."
