handy tool i found the item very useful, as i tend to forget i have something in oven when i start something else, only downside a louder ring would be nice. 27 February 2013
pleasant and easy to use This was bigger and heavier than I expected. The flag design is cute to look at and it works efficiently. It is as good as any other Salter branded product, I have their scales which I like as well. Being a glass top/front it wipes clean easily with no buttons to go wrong. I would prefer it to be lighter and smaller so more easy to fit in pockets etc, for taking about the house or into the garden in summer. 12 February 2013
Difficult to read The display is difficult to read off-centre. As this is often the way it has to be read in the kitche I bought a different (still Salter) model.. 30 January 2013
