Works fine but not loud Simple to use, but the beeper isn't that loud - even though the packaging says that it is. If it's in the kitchen, and our extractor fan is is on, we can't hear it in the next room, so it needs to be carried about. 27 February 2013
I purchased this item because it was described as having a large clear display with a loud beeper! The display is very good, clear and has second count down markers around the peripheral of the clock face. But the problem is the beeper when it goes off you cannot hear it unless you are standing next to the timer. This is very poor and Salter do a much louder timer, which is cheaper in their standard kitchen range. 20 January 2013
