You get what you pay for The wood is a little rough in places. The 'TEA' word inlay is the same colour as the canister so is almost invisible, but the plastic inserts can be removed and washed, without having to ruin the whole container washing it. Overall, not too bad if it's a price you want to pay, but not as good as dearer ones I've had in the past. 18 January 2013
