Waste of money
Bought these thinking they would help me on my weight loss journey however they were certainly not ideal they were weighting so much different to scales in hospital and I’m chemist I definitely would not recommend unless you want the feel good factor then they are great !

The instructions for use of the Salter Mechanical Bathroom Scales - Black state that the scales should be used on a firm, flat surface. On balance, we would say that use on carpets is not suitable however the only way to compare would be to try them out on a hard floor and then the carpet (as carpets can be variable), to see if the weights were comparable.
