Panasonic TX-P42X60B 42 Inch HD Ready Plasma TV. 4.8 5 19 20
Plasma TV's are great! I have been a fan of Panasonic Plasma TV's for quite a few years and this is my third purchase. Now all my family enjoy the quality of this superb TV. We have experienced good picture and sound quality since our initial purchase. The very attractive price was of great benefit and the purchase and shipping went according to plan. Well done Argos! I have yet to see any other TV technology perform as well as Plasma and the 42" size is ideal. 26 August 2014
Second Panasonic Plasma purchased... Already own the 50" version of this model. Have purchased this for the bedroom, & because of the smaller screen size have found the picture quality to be slightly better. A note to potential buyers... to get the best viewing, turn OFF the default 'modes', such as 'ambient light sensor', 'noise reduction', and knock the colour down by 6 notches (same for my 50"), and you'll get one of the best screens available! Sound, as you would expect from a 'flat panel' isn't great, but that's all... 01 August 2014

Happy Viewer Really pleased with this TV. It was so easy to set up and the only minor problem I had was very speedily resolved when I rang the support number and spoke to a very helpful operator. The picture and sound quality are excellent and I feel this TV is very good value for the money. 04 June 2014

Answer:
Hi gumbo,
The warranty is a 1 year's manufacturing guarantee, so only covers manufacturing faults.
If you wanted cover for accidental damage, you would need to add Breakdown Care to your order, which covers you for faults and failures, and also accidental damage for the duration of your plan.

Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for your question.

HD Ready TV?s typically display a maximum resolution of 720p, this is still a noticeably sharper picture than standard TV. Full HD supports a resolution of 1080p which is noticeably sharper again and is considered full high definition.

I hope this helps

Answer:
That's exactly right. The HD channels will look great; the non-HD equivalent channels will be less visually impressive. You will be able to clearly tell the difference. HD channels are really optimised when you watch movies and sports, and modern TV shows.
