Sturdy very sturdy product, not as wide as some other gates I have had in the past, but still fits standard door frame. if you have a wider gap may need to buy extensions that are purchased as extras. 21 November 2012
The description is inaccurate I cannot comment on the gate itself as we never got it out of the box. We purchased this as the description on the Argos site said that it fitted openings from 73cm. The doors in our house are 73cm wide, too narrow for most pressure cup gates, and so we were delighted to find this product. On getting the product home however, and reading the description on the back of the box, we saw that the gate actually fits openings from 73.6cm. This was obviously no use to us and we have returned the product to Argos. 06 September 2012
