"Only used once and seems ok, although this Trimmer is quite heavy in comparison to my old one, another point iv,e noticed its twin feed from the spool which means the wire is feed more quickly therefore uses more & the spool supplied is very skimpy."

"I bought this based on the reviews on this site. Perhaps I was just unlucky, or perhaps the strimmer cartridge was faulty.
The problems were:
Dual feed system didn't work properly, one side of the strimmer wire didn't feed the wire through.
The single wire that did feed through had to be done manually so I was stopping every minute or so to do this.
I spent more time on the above than I did on the gardening.
I will try buying another cartridge - if this doesn't work I will take it back. Altogether too much trouble."

"Recently bought this grass trimmer I have a large slightly overgrown garden and this trimmer was a godsend. It worked very well on long grass and weeds although the automatic feed sometimes doesn't work it is easy to adjust it manually and then the automatic feed kicks in again. Great value for money the only drawback for me is it is a bit heavy so can only do a little trimming at a time."
