"We had a rechargeable trimmer but it lacked power. This does the job in half the time .... I think its worth using an extension lead when you want to do a job quickly!"

"Wanted a robust trimmer for a large overgrown hedge. Does the job well although the trimmer is quite heavy. Ideal for someone with muscles but as I'm retired I have to work in stages. Trim, rest, cup of tea, trim -- suits me!"

"The first impression was that it was bigger than expected, but looked to be well made.
It has a long electrical lead which is good.
It has a quick stop brake which is good (the cutting action stops the instant you take your finger off the trigger).
On the down side it is very heavy and quite loud.
If you have to reach to cut hedges (if you are on a ladder for example), you will definately feel the weight.
Otherwise it is fine."
