"had a proper expensive heavy strimmer that had problems and which I wasn't able to use anyway, too heavy and scary so got this and its so much better and lighter and does a good job so very pleased."

Does the job for me

"The only grass I have is the metre border around my large allotment. The battery holds enough charge for this job which is a mix of short and long grass plus dandelions and nettles. It copes with this well and the head turns to deal with any grass overhanging the borders. Replacing cutter cable looks straightforward when the time comes. Just as good as my previous Black and Decker which was double the price. The strimmer is compact enough to fit into my storage box but when the handle extended it is long enough for me to strim without bending - I am just over 6ft tall."
