"Good strong secateurs.
Pro's: ratchet action makes easy work of thick branches; 'scissors type' handle on one side helps grip.
Con's: 'scissors type' handle on the other side would have helped; lock not easy to flick in place with one hand."

"Purchased this as a replacement for a similar ;but different brand which were disappointing.
Due to the solid build of these they were good to handle especially when using the ratchet on the thicker branches."

"I wanted something for pruning and these fit the bill. They tackle some thicker growth on my trees that my old ones struggled with. Easy to use and fitted with safety catch."

Like having a pair of loppers!

"They really are that good and cut that well. My wife and I have just cleared a long over-grown Ivy bush and the stems and branches were well-thick - snip... Well, squeeze, release and click then squeeze, release and snick then a third time and they were cut right through as clean as a whistle. We couldn't have attempted this with conventional secateurs. Also, for anyone a bit arthritic or lacking in the squeezy area, they would be a boon. I was managing nearly two centimetres of clean cut. No mess, no hassle and a dab of oil to finish. My sort of tool, a good buy."
