Great cheap water butt
Has this installed several months now and it’s worked nicely with no issues. It’s fairly cheap and cheerful but you get what you pay for. The water diverter that fits on the gutter down pipe is a little fiddly to set up but works once you get it there. It does need decent firm, level ground for the supplied stand to be of any use.

Compact and easy to set up
Bought on offer at argos, very happy with purchase, the tap is slightly flimsy but for the price I still think it is worth it. Would recommend if you don't want the bulky look of a larger one. I purchased online and collected from store, very easy.

Works for the garage rain water
Purchased at the beginning of Feb 2026, I have now installed the water butt. A relatively easy task, except the circular cutter specified to make the hole was non standard at 27mm but I made the 25mm work with persuasion.

Water butt
I bought this because I wanted a slim Water butt for the front of the house. The butt itself seems well made with a good fitting lid, but is let down by the flimsy tap which spurts in all directions making it hard to fill a watering can. However, it was reasonably priced compared to others I viewed.

When your Strata Water Butt reaches its full 100-litre capacity, any additional rainwater will begin to overflow. Most water butts, including this one, are equipped with an overflow outlet to safely redirect excess water. However, if this outlet isn’t connected to a drainage system or another water butt, the water may spill around the base, potentially causing waterlogging.
