You'll cut straight lines or curves through wood, metal and plastic. The soft grip handle reduces strain during longer sessions. Variable speed control matches the pace to your material. You'll swap blades quickly using the tool-free push button system. The safety lock switch prevents accidental starting. It's got a 3m cable for better reach around your workspace. Too fiddly!
It was fiddly to fit the blade and then it got stuck and also I could not figure out how to start it. The instructions were not helpful. I persevered for an hour and gave up. I took it back for a refund. The Argos assistant got blade in and out and started it and asked if I really wanted to return it? Yes I do!

Excellent DIY addition
I bought this to cut some hardbacked lino boards, and the result is amazing, bearing in mind that I've never shone at sawing anything. It's easy to control and not nearly as scary as I feared. It took me a while to grasp the instructions, but I got there in the end by trying not to second-guess them. I'm very pleased - it's a very impressive tool for a very reasonable price.
