"I brought this desk for my eight yr old daughter and she loves it. The desk was easy to construct with clear instruction and is very sturdy. It is neat and contemporary so fits nicely into her bedroom."

poor quality construction

"went together easy enough but the quality of the chip board is dire. you just know it wont last long as the screws barely hold in the low density wood. Still, it only has to last a while as its a kids desk but i would have expected much better for the price."

"Great desk but I found that some of the instructions were not very clear and some info appeared to be missing. Also the sliders should have been labelled but weren't. I found the bunk bed I bought easier to build!! However, once built this looks great and my daughter loves it."

"The appearance is the real deal-maker for this item. A desk with bright pink drawers, my daughter loves it. However, the quality of the fittings, for example screwing into chipboard, end-on with no plugs, make me question how long it would stay solid if constructed as per the instructions. There is no glue supplied with the kit, however I glued every joint and would suggest you do likewise. The drawers are not as deep as the desk, so they will not quite take a sheet of A4 flat from front to back and the space for a chair is quite narrow. Overall it is suitable for a pre-teen child and will hopefully last longer than a couple of years before it gets wobbly."
