"construction notes not clear and often misleading. nuts,bolts,small screws all came in one big bag and had to be painstakingly sorted before construction. Flimsy panels were VERY hard to align and construction notes were very unhelpful in this regard. After final assembly it was found that there was severe condensation on the roof resulting in water pouring down the walls. Solved with installation of polystyrene panels but this should not have been necessary. ( Or at least should have been warned about)"

I won't be buying metal again

"I bought this metal shed on the basis of the reviews given on the website. My experience was totally different. Pressings not formed properly or twisted, the fixings were dreadful (tiny screws, very few nuts & bolts), holes misaligned. Despite making a flat level base, ensuring the frames were squared, I had major problems, I found myself drilling holes to try to fix it. The screws would overtighten so easily I fixed them with a hand screwdriver. One door was bent, the other was so low , it caught on the threshold. The replacement door was too high so didn't line up. I constantly tried to fix the problems but gave up with the doors (no adjustment possible on doors). The door assembly itself needs a page to describe it (no ref: to cutting the strengthener to size before fitting and you can't do it if you followed the instructions and fitted the hinges first (rips to shreds). Also had leak on roof after first rain shower.
On a positive note: Argos were excellent, firstly exchanging the door in good time and; taking the return quickly when I dismantled the whole shed after giving up with the various problems. So, In my case, top service from Argos let down by the product."

"took 2 people approx 7 hours to put up. roof was a bit awkward. really pleased with purchase though its ideal for what we wanted and we bought when it was on offer so saved there ;-)"

"The shed is well designed but a little fiddly to put up. You definitely need 2 people as parts need supporting during assembly.
My tips for an easier build are below, don't let them put you off, it's a decent shed when finished:
1. The base needs to be 128.3 cm x 203.8 cm not the exterior dimensions quoted.
2. It is a 'lean to' design but cannot be constructed against a wall, you need access from the outside to fit panels. So make sure you have clear level ground in front of the area so you can walk round the shed. Sliding it into position later.
3. The design relies on self-tapping screws. For easier construction run a screw into each pilot hole before offering a piece up. Speeds things up and you definitely need a powered screw driver to do the job in a reasonable time.
4. The self-tapping screws are very short (8mm) they're fiddly and you can't wear gloves, so be extra careful on the metal edges.
5. It is possible to fit the panels upside down as the holes will line up either way, don't make that mistake as I did (numpty)."
