great shed, but awful to put up

"Shed itself is great once it is up and it is of a good size. But the materials are really flimsy and the holes do not match up which makes it really awkward to put the thing up even when things are level and straight. Sometimes we had to drill the holes ourselves as the predrilled ones don't line up. So have a drill ready. Strips on the gables also obscure the holes so the bolts don't fit in. Don't put it up if it is windy. Make sure you have got plenty of space around the shed as you need access from all sides. Also, you need more space than the 10 x 13 feet - the base you need to make needs to be a few inches larger than that. Plus some of the roof is really awkward to put up as you can't really reach the holes so you need to crawl up on the roof .to get to these. And as the materials are flimsy a little too much pressure can buckle the roof. Our two gables were already slighty buckled upon receipt- but they could be bent back into shape. If you want an easy option, get a wooden one."

"This is a very good shed, we bought the 10x13, which has provided us with a huge amount of storage space. It took just over a day to compete the construction.
The reason i didnt give this 5 stars is that if want to build this into a corner or up against a wall, then it becomes much harder to build as you need a lot of access to put in screws etc"

"Delux Metal Garden shed is exactly what is says on the packet. Read the instuctions very carefully and follow them to the letter otherwise you will have a torid time errecting it. You will need at least a meter access to the front back and sides when you are errecting it. Overall I would say it is value for money and looks good. The space is valuable and ideal for storing the lawn tractor and all the garden tools. It is possible to erect this shed by your self but some ingenuity and magnets will be required! Have fun"

"Great buy for the money, fairly straight forward to put together although roof holes did not line up so had to drill new holes but apart from that I was pleased with my purchase."

"The shed came in 2 boxes and whilst is was like building a mechano set - it is robust and well designed, stood up to the recent storms.
You will need a lot of silicone to seal the nuts/screws. You will also need soem spare plastic washers as the shed doesn't come with enough."
