"This is the second Kidde unit I have had. After 5+ years the first finnaly started giving off the warning beep it was at end of life. The new one simply cliped in the place of the original on its old baseso so new screws. 1min job done! For peace of mind about fires and CO poison its worh every penny."

"I have had the same unit for 7 years and have needed to replace due to the age, great piece of kit as you only need one alarm for fire and co2.The new unit installed onto the old bracket which was a bonus (saved drilling and plugging)."
