"One of the two alarms did not work properly - there is a light which is meant to blink periodically, but the light on this alarm was continuous, wearing the battery down in 24 hours. The other alarm is fine."

"what more can I say, smoke alarms are very important to have. These are cheap, reliable and essential. Higly recommended as these are so small so they blend in. Every house should have these."

Small, neat & great value

"Just redecorated and wanted to replace my existing 2 battery operated fire/smoke alarms which were looking a bit dated. Saw these advertised in the Argos on line catalogue and there were some excellent reviews. These reviews together with the exceptionally competitive price prompted me to reserve them on line and pick up at my local store. Total time from reservation to picking up at my local store was about 30 minutes! These alarms are quite small compared to my previous older versions and they come complete with batteries. Fitting is simple via 2 screws (supplied with wall plugs if needed). Replacing batteries is simple........just twist the outer part of the assembly and it lifts off from the part screwed to the ceiling or wall.Testing is simple and carried out by pressing a small button on the front of the unit. Emits a very loud alarm.Great value for money for 2 alarms + batteries!"
