"These shelves are so simple to construct...with only a rubber mallet required...that the entire operation took just a quarter of an hour, plus another half hour to stack up all my paraphenalia from years of untidiness!

"Goes together quite easily but you do need a mallet or a hammer with a piece of wood to knock the bits together.
The result is sturdy enough. I've seen some reviews saying they would not trust it with a heavy load, but it appears to cope quite well.
That said, I think if you wanted to keep rearranging it, it would not take long before the fittings started to wear and become loose.
My biggest gripe is that the shelves are untreated chipboard, and are rather ugly, especially as the edges are visible when assembled. You probably wouldn't want this in your living room. fine for a garage though.
The shelves are fully positionable throughout the unit, and as it comes in two sections you could use it as two half-height sections and screw them together (screws supplied). The instructions suggest this option as a "workbench", but I think that would be stretching things a bit far for this construction."

"Really useful shelving unit which was easy to put up. I like the fact that it can be five shelves or put up as a two and three shelf unit, acting as a workbench. I've used it as a workbench in my shed and I'm really pleased with it. It is also very sturdy."

"A very good product. I don't think I would put anything massively heavy on it but it is robust enough for all our shed bits and pieces."
