"I was told that fellows were a good make....having set up the shredder..found it to struggle on four sheets of paper......sorry but for the money i spent on this i regret buying it...there is alot better out there and cheaper...."

"A really excellent little shredder for normal household use. The small cross cut shreds give you a good sense of security when shredding old bank statements etc.
One point. Remember to purchase some shredder oil when buying. Unfortunately Argos don't sell it."

A Cut above the average

"This contraption replaced a shredder I'd had for almost 20 years – and cost the same! So, are we being overcharged? Probably. Is it better than the old shredder? No. In fact it feels flimsier but then, so many things do these days when compared/contrasted to earlier products. Having said that, I tested quite a few different cross-cut shredders (no one in their right minds would bother with a standard linear-cut shredder) and came to the conclusion that it performed better than others in the price range. Oh, and it can cope with staples, cuts credit cards (but not CDs, but who bothers to shred CDs when a strong pair of scissors does a better job?) AND more than one sheet at a time (features which aren't mentioned in the blurb for other shredders. Why not? Is it because their motors aren't quite so robust?). What more do you want (apart from a lower price)?"
