The Puerto Rico is a rustic solid pine bed with light wax finish for a traditional feel. The headboard and footboard have an inlaid design and there are decorative black metal studs in the bed posts.

"Bought the bed for my son, I built it with my wife, and it was put up in about an hour.Very easy and easy to work out if you get stuck. The only silly part was putting the black buttons on the posts, you measure to find themiddle and just push them into the wood like a tack, but they look good if centered."

"A well made bed, with a matt waxed finish which was not well illustrated in the picture but very pleasing. Assembly was pretty straight forward but an extra pair of hands ( a child will do ) is recommended and a very well charged power drill as there are lots of screws to fit, this will take forever manually. One small gripe, 6 screws too few provided, no big issue but irritating. Once built the bed is comfortable and does not creak , despite my bulk."
