"I'd been looking for a while for a reasonably priced pine bed with storage and a sloped headboard, so was over the moon to find this one. It was pretty easy to put together (if very time consuming - allow an entire afternoon & early evening for 2 people!), and the instructions were clear. The build quality is not amazing in places, but only what you would expect in a bed of this price - some of the wood edges can be a bit sharp, and the bases of the drawers are flimsy and won't hold much weight. That said, they are fine for spare bedding etc., and are a good size. Overall the bed frame seems very solid, and I love the style of it. I have only had it for a couple of months, so still not sure how well it will stand up to the test of time, but so far I am very happy with it!"

"Lovely solid bed, minimal look. You need a lot of room either side of the bed to open the drawers. It took ages to put together as it comes in small pieces and the screws are not labelled well. It also took a long time as the instructions are not brilliantly clear and you have to use your common sense. However you are going to have to be patient and with a firm mattress it is a lovely bed."

"Argos is to be congratulated on their excellent delivery service.The bedframe is excellent, too. All the parts are numbered, instructions logical and easy to follow. No more do flat packers have to sort the screws out - they are individually shrink wrapped on card. It is so simple and a vast improvement on even 4 years ago. The frame is sturdy and looks really good. Well done, Argos!"

"nightmare to assemble. give yourself several hours. having a adecent allen key set and power screwdriver will also help as the tools supplied are a joke.
wood quality is low as ia the stain.

having said all this bad stuff, the bed has held together for the past few weeks and i think it willl continue to do so. visually it is fine as all you see is the headboard and the sides.
the draws work fine, though i would nt put anything too heavy imn them..
you get what you pay for and this is a fair price for a good enough bed that can be dissaasembled and put into awkward to get at bedrooms
we bought it due to its very low headboard and are attic bedroom."
