Stakka Single Guest bed Clever solution for those unexpected guests..., as long as they are not too heavy! One of the slats snapped as I was putting sheets on the bed, and i was not even putting my full weight on it (and I am not extremely heavey either). Mattresses seemed slightly short for the frame, and a little too firm, but after buying a mattress topper for each of the beds they are extremely comfortable. The Stakka is good value for money. It would be tough to find two guest beds plus mattresses for that price. 16 January 2013

Comfortable It's a bed. It works. Far more comfortable than the armchair, storage boxes, and futon mattress I'd been lying on for the past several years! Easy to put together, better with two people. I got around this by standing the longer lengths upright, against a door. Beware: If you are a bit overweight and it down heavily on the bed, you will break a slat or two. I broke one, which was cheaply replaced. I plan to put sheets of plywood on top of the slats, on the top bed only, to spread the load. 04 July 2012
