The Cuba futon is a rubberwood frame with an attractive natural finish. It easily converts into a double bed. The mattress has a cotton cover and is filled with two therma-bonded pads with a depth of 14cm. This futon is ideal for everyday use as a sofa and occasional use as a bed.

Ok sofa, but not a great bed Pros: once assembled, it looks nice and is comfy to sit on. Cons: It arrived in many many small parts, presumably to address the delivery problem I see in earlier comments, but therefore requires a lot of assembly for quite a basic piece of furniture. The futon is comfy to sit on but very hard to sleep on. The cover is not removable and spares are not sold on Argos and are expensive elsewhere. It's a tiny bit rickety and I don't expect it to last very long. I will be reinforcing the joints with metal brackets. If you are a big person, I would think twice about buying this sofabed. It's a wee bit short to sleep on and the wood is not reinforced where it should be. A (pre-assembled) bracket has already dropped off. If it had arrived in one piece instead of self-assembly, I might well have returned it. 27 February 2013
Really good purchase Bought this sofabed for my son as he is too tall for the single bed he had for three years, was a bit dubious of him having a sofabed as some reviews weren't good about the item we where about to purchase. In the end we plumped for this item as it was a really good price and it goes well in his room thought it might be a bit large and cumbersome but it goes well with his black and white theme that he's got in his room already. The sofabed he says is really comfy and easy to use although it did suggest light use only well so far he has had to use it everyday as he has nowhere else to sleep and so far it's been well worth the money we paid for it. 18 January 2011

Futon I now have 2 of these futons I am very very pleased with them but when my son comes to stay and uses the futon, he says he is too long for it, he being 6ft tall;because his feet touch the arms at the base. 19 January 2010
