it is firm as others have said, but i found it very comfortable and sturdy, have slept on it myself and had a very comfortable night! 23 May 2013

Good quality purchase - but firm! The bed is of good quality and a good size and easy, although very heavy, to pull out - however, it is very firm (as I had read in reviews before purchase). When folded out there is a dip where the seat finishes and the spring bed starts but do not fear there is a solution! We laid a kingsize duvet folded in half over the whole bed-and theres more- then put a very good quality bed topper on the top of that, hey presto, firm but comfortable (according to my brother, who slept on it for three nights at Christmas). The sofa itself is 'ok' to sit on but not for long as there is no 'give'! So if you are buying for the occasional guest 'sleepover' its perfect (if you follow the few suggestions I have given), you will have no problems! 16 January 2013
