About this product
The Argos Home Malibu Office Desk gives you space to work from home with a layout that keeps everything you need close at hand. It's built with a three-drawer pedestal that stores paperwork, stationery and all the small bits that pile up on desks. The drawers run on metal glides, so they open and close smoothly without sticking. There's a hidden three-shelf unit underneath the main surface, tucked away but within easy reach when you're sitting down. The desk surface gives you room for a laptop, monitor, phone and a notebook without crowding.
The black finish suits home offices or spare bedrooms without clashing with existing furniture. Three fixed shelves keep books, folders or storage boxes organised underneath. It holds up to thirty kilogrammes on the top surface, enough for standard computer setups and daily desk items. The legs leave space underneath for a standard chair to tuck in when you're not using it. Simple assembly required, one person can put it together with the instructions and fixings provided.

Very good purchase.
I purchased this unit last week, but it took a bit longer than what I thought to assemble it, the instructions are a bit confusing. In saying that, once it was assembled this unit is very good in appearance , storage and quality. I would certainly buy this unit again.

Eminently affordable workdesk
Bought as a desktop computer work desk. Very reasonable price, good design, sturdy build and easy assembly. Looks good.

what a mess
Poor quality veneer finish, split on corner package when opened showed a scratch and a chip. I would have taken it back to the store but, being 74 with arthritis it was far to heavy and bulky for me and I could not rely on friends to help this time. will not purchase any more flat pack items from Argos.

Poor quality
This item came with some screws and drawer sliding parts missing. It was also damaged in the corners. The outer wood layer comes off easily. Very poor quality. We would have returned it if my son hadn't already started to put it together.
