"I found building this pruduct very difficult. The screws are of very low quality. I broke a screwdriver bit for an electric screwdriver and a actual screwdriver. (Whilst trying desperately to screw the screws in)
I like look of it though and is deep enough for a a4 folder."

"Excellent bookcase, easy to assemble, superb gismo to get the nails in, sturdy, and the adjustable shelves are just what I required. Good finish, possibly will not stand up to much ill-treatment but looks good for a wood effect finish. Bought as part of a set in the same range - delighted."

"Heavy in the boxes (two per unit) for an oldgeezer with a back problem; all the parts there and even an extra screw or two in case you lose one; instructions easy to follow provided you don't rush it and really do read them.
Two man job is recommended but you can do it on your own. Enough floor space is needed to lie the sides down edge-on and screw together. First add the kickboard to the bottom shelf, which sits about 2" off the floor then screw it tpo the left and right sides before adding the top 'shelf' at the other end. Then just screw in the middle shelf. The destructions recommend manual rather than power screw drivers, but it's easier with one provided you're careful.
Nailing on the back hardboard panels with the pins provided is trickier, trying to keep them square, and they are in three sections each held together with parcel tape. Unfortunately, some of this had come unstuck and it is easy to let one section get under another or let two become separated. Check the positions as each panel pin is hammered home is the way to go.
Stand it up and you will see too much daylight through the parcel tape if the sections have separated, but in this case only by a couple of mm and anyway, your books will hide it when on the shelves. Then slide the plastic protectors over the shelf supports (pins that look like a 2mm dia half inch rivet) and place them in holes in the side panels at the level the shelves are required, after which you just rest the shelves on them.
I got three of these to hold my ancient degree books and notes in my 'office' space and they're plenty smart and heavy duty enough for that - the really posh ones are in the living room - ideal for a first home, office, student or urchin bedroom and exactly as expected for the money."
