The Argos Home Maine Bookcase gives you a straightforward place to keep your books, figurines and favourite things organised and on display. It's a tall unit that fits neatly against the wall without taking up floor space. The clean white finish works with most room styles, whether it's a living room, bedroom or home office. There's one fixed shelf for stability and four adjustable shelves, so you can set the spacing to suit paperbacks, hardbacks or decorative items at heights that work for you.
The wood effect finish with PVC coating wipes clean when dust builds up. Wall-mounting fixings included for secure attachment, important for taller units in homes with children. Great bookcase
Excellent bookcase which was easy to put together. It is quite heavy and therefore substantial.

Easy to put together but not very sturdy
easy to put together but can tell its a lower end priced product. The supporting back panels arrived in 2 halves and was difficult to tack onto the back of the bookcase to make sturdy due to it being in 2 pieces rather than one full piece and so had a visible gap of around a few mm's in middle of bookcase. If this was to be displayed in a busy living space I would have sent back but ok for sons bedroom and requires the wall supports to prevent tipping. Assembly was easy to put together

Great bookshelf!
I bought this a couple of weeks ago and honestly it’s perfect, so much space, shelves are adjustable. Was so so quick to build. A good weight - not too heavy but also not super light so don’t have to worry about it falling over. The walnut finish is also gorgeous, goes perfectly with my decor. Thank you Argos!
