"if you are after something cheap that looks good and is sturdy enough to hold books then this is the one for you. the shelves arent very deep but are fine for small to medium sized books. Also the shelves come with a little hook to attach it to the wall to prevent it toppling."

"My 2 teenage sons put these together with no problems. We have a lot of books & needed some extra simple shelves to accommodate them. These bookshelves are excellent value & pretty sturdy."

"Simple, functional and cheap, bought two of these and they were just what we needed to unpack and display rapidly boxes of books we had moved from our old house.
They were simple to assemble and that's coming from someone who is easily capable of putting things together back to front or failing to follow ambiguous instructions.
I reserved these at Argos and collected with no difficulty."

"Easy to assemble, but really needs two people. Very difficult to align back boards & nail into place without splitting, despite being supplied with a 'nail aligning tool'. The designers need to look at this. Also, it would be most helpful if the back of the base had a 'cut out' to allow the bookcase to sit against the wall. I had to place a spacer in when fixing and there is therefore a gap down the side."
