"Great buy from the argos sale. Read previous reviews before making my purchase, so aware of quality and finish of the product, I knew I would need to varnish this item once received to protect it from water damage caused by spilled drinks etc. This sits quite nicely in our conservatory, in fact I'm going to wait for the next sale to buy another one and have it attached to this one in a 'horseshoe' shape. Definitely needs 2 people to construct, and took me and hubby 2 hours to build :)"

Better than expected

"I have actually purchased this product twice, one for the kitchen and the other for the conservatory. I must admit I've been reluctant to pay full price for it so have waited until it's been in the sale both times. The product turned out to be sturdier than expected and fairly easy to build (only needing a little assistance to lift and hold steady). I haven't bothered with the small bench seats as I didn't need them for seating. It seats 3 easily and 4 obviously with an extra seat. Only negative for me is there could be a little more overhang on the table at the ends to make seating a little more comfortable. Pleased with my purchase, both times."

"This is a great space saver so suits our needs. The finish could be better, we have had to treat the wood as this has not been done (which is not included in the description.) The option to buy an L shaped cushion would be good to make it more comfortable."

"BEWARE- this unit takes at least 5/6 hours to erect. lots of the pre-drilled location screw and dowl holes do not line up.It is a nightmare to put together.unless you are really good at re-drilling holes for screws and dowls in the correct places and trying to disguise wrongly located original.holes.i feel sorry for anyone purchasing this unit that thinks it will be able to be assembled in minutes,think again.you will be well advised to hire a professional to assemble this unit and the cost involved in doing this.The table top is made of strips of pine they have not been glued together properly and are seperateing and warping after 2 weeks use, giving a uneven surface and spaces developing between the strips that make up the table top surface."
