Excellent lens. I am using this now as my primary lens at the moment. Good sharp images, VR works great, easy to hand hold and carry around. I've liked and used Nikon equipment since starting out in photography in the 60's and this has not disappointed. 30 April 2013

So far I'm pleased This lens does not have image stabilisation which puts more demands on the user and limits its use a little. However for the price it gave me a 200mm telephoto lens and I am very happy with that. I have taken some good photographs already with it. I still think it was well worth the price. 11 October 2012
