"At half the original price, this is a convenient pocket camcorder with pretty decent video quality. Fine for those moments when you didn't bother to carry a full-spec camera with you. I don't have the latest smart phone so can't comment on how it compares in qulaity. My guess would be that this is a good buy for those who have not invested in the latest mobile phone technology.
Drawbacks: poor focus at anything less than a metre. Low light performance nothing to write home about. Bundled software is a waste of time."
