"first good feature if you contact the company they extend the warranty to two years which should be long enough to cover its life span in normal use.good features but easy to use.if its good enough for robbie williams ......"

"this s3100 is awsum the metering is amazing i have a digital slr and its as good as at a 3rd of the cost super compact light easy to use and in idot mode takes fantastic shots.
got it for my wife but i want one now"

"Bought this little camera to take on holiday but could have done with longer to get used to the features on it. Lots I haven't tried yet but for point and shoot pics its great. The video capture is fantastic! Was intending to buy an HD camcorder but couldn't decide which one, so bought this in a hurry but probably won't bother now. Bought an 8GB card and it records 8 minutes of film at a time with perfect clarity. really impressed!"

"This camera takes some nice pictures for it's size. I would suggest anybody buying one, reads the instructions first, not assume that you know how to operate it because you had one like it. It's a bit fiddly to get used to, so may be not ideal for Grandad, but once set up. it's easy to use.The mini connector underneath is a bit dodgy. It has a plastic cover which you have to hook out, and I can't see that lasting very long in day to day use. Would have liked to see the zoom lever on the back rather than the front, but it works in the end."
