"The catalogue suggested this would work with cable TV, the box when received didn't say so. Alas it didn't work and had to take it back. Sure it's fine if you are non-cable."

"Unfortunately the equipment failed to be fit for purpose. The picture sent was weak with no sound. Tried the three frequency settings but to no avail. It was suggested, when returned, it may be due to being in a granite building although transmission would not in itself be through granite but floorboards.
It must be said there was no problem with refund from Argos who accepted goods back without question. 5 stars to Argos"

"bought this model in exchange for the plug 'n play for which I gave a wonderful review previously! that one overheated and blew the transmitter plug! this one I have now so far is brilliant, although it bears no resemblance to description in catalogue and on line! ie 2.4 ghtz instead of 5.8. Saying all that it does work very well in ALL rooms. Hope I haven't jinxed it by giving a good review!"

Waste of money

"I was extremely disappointed to find this av sender cannot transmit a 5 metre distance without constant interference on the second tv.
After reading the notice saying it would perform poorly if placed on electrical items such as dvd or satellite equipment (which is exactly where you would put it) I placed the transmitter away from my av equipment, in line of sight to the receiver, with no walls to transmit through and still no improvement to the interference which makes the second tv almost unwatchable."
