Customer reviews and ratings

Bush Freeview+ Smart Digital TV Recorder. 3.7 5 185 200
freeview recorder as described does the job and for the cost i am very pleased with it. 24 July 2014
Very happy with my Freeview + I have been very pleased with my new Bush Freeview + box. It was so simple to install, in fact I didn't have to do anything and it was up and running in minutes. I then purchased another one, but upgraded it to 500 GB model for my son. 15 July 2014
Unhappy Product difficult to use, conflicted with TV and broke down in the first week. Thanks to Argos Technical for swiftly allowing us to return item. 28 June 2014
this product is not reliable!! I have had this recorder now for a few months, and can't stand it anymore. I'm going to return it to the store this weekend. When you set it to series record it will quite often not record. And some times it says it has recorded and there is nothing but a blank screen. It also stops recording before the end of the program. When a series link is set it will recorded every showing. So on some channels you get the original showing, then a plus one and then an early morning showing as well. 20 June 2014
Brilliant, exactly what i wanted. 04 June 2014

The heading of this item states this is a Smart Digital TV recorder. On the description it does not state that it is - can you please confirm if this can be used for on demand TV like I-player etc.

Answer:
Hi The definition of Smart has changed since this recorder was designed. It is not a Smart recorder because it has no internet connectivity hence no demand TV etc.

I want to be able to pause, rewind and record programmes on my smart TV, Does the box work alongside smart TVs?
Will the box effect any of the smart TV functions eg Catch-up and the use of other apps?

I have a Bush TV with two Scart Sockets. So can I connect the TV by Scart to the Freeview Recorder, and also a scart between TV and DVD Player? And plug the TV Ariel into the Freeview Box. And also run a Coax between the Freeview Box and TV.
Would this enable me to:
Play DVD's while recording onto the Freeview Recorder?
Record 1 or 2 Channels whilst watching another?

Thank You
