Bush Freeview HD Digital Set Top Box. 3.9 5 46 48
Bush Freeview HD Digital Set Top Box. Had this for less than a week and returned it no real improvement on normal freeview 04 March 2014
Good but ECG menu is not brilliant The benefits of this product fair outweigh it pitfalls. It is quick and easy to set up with a good range of channels and takes up minimal space in my tv cabinet. I would reccomend this for anyone who cannot afford to buy the more expensive ones- in other words it is one of the better cheaper ones. It's only downfall lies in the ECG menu. When scrolling through channels on the menu you only see one channels listings at a time as opposed to a list of all channels with their individuals listings. 25 February 2014
Brilliant This box is easy to set-up, up-scales the standard definition channels to your selected resolution such as 1920x1080p/i or 720, it's possible to use a SCART cable though. It's USB port is great with an external harddisk so you can record TV shows, you can't record and watch another channel though but I liked to set things to record when I'm out or in bed, it stores them in high definition if its a HD channel your recording. The files can play on a PC. still enjoying it, value for money. 14 January 2014
Xbox one Bought this to use with the xbox one. Works a treat :) all the HD channels (including the new BBC ones) look fantastic. Only disappointing thing is the EPG. This really isn't the best which is the only reason I can't give it 5* 10 January 2014
Wicked Easy to set up .Very good picture ,HD channels even better , Add a USB hard drive and you can record and pause live TV . Just the Electronic program guide that is a bit strange as it changes to the channel as you scan though the guide ,But with all the other features for this low price you can put up with it . Maybe there will be a update for it . 09 January 2014

Answer:
hi,thank you for your question, unfortunately the bush digital box has only one tuner/receiver which only allows the box to receive one channel signal at a time, there for you can only watch/record one program at a time .
To watch and record different channels at the same time ,you would need a twin tuner/receiver box.

I live on a new build estate which does not allow any sky dishes or arials on the properties. Hence the communal fibre optic cabling.
Previous goodmans box worked rarely and no longer picks up any channels.
Please advise whether this one will be any better? Do not want to purchase if It does not work!!!!!

I have a fairly old TV (Aquos) but it worked with another box. The Bush set is plugged in with a scart cable and the aerial is also plugged in. The scan doesn't find any programmes, probably because there is zero signal. The aerial was checked by a cable company a few days ago and it worked with a digi box they had. I did have to put an adapter on the aerial cable to change the F-type terminal to a coaxial to fit the digi box RF-in. Can you think of what the problem might be? thanks.

Answer:
I have an aerial which is on the roof, but if you have been assured that your aerial is not the problem, perhaps is the box itself which is the problem, previously I had the Argos brand digibox, it worked for 2 weeks and that's was it, took it back to Argos and add some money to buy the Bush 2636 box which I have been using without any problem. Your box might be faulty, you need to change it, it happens with electronic equipments.

Answer:
Hi, thank you for your question.

Having looked into your query, I can confirm that to use the Bush Freeview HD Digital Set Top Box, you will need either a SCART or HDMI cable, along with a TV that features either of these ports.

Thanks for using Argos Q&A.
